FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
❆ What is a "zine"?
A fanzine/zine is a collaborative, fan-made book, often based on a theme or character—in our case, Genshin Impact's Ganyu! We aim to create a book featuring illustrations and writing about Ganyu, accompanied by physical merchandise (acrylic charms, stickers, etc)!❆ How many contributors are you planning to accept?
We're looking for 20-30 artists, 4-7 merch artists, and 4-7 writers/poets to join our team! ❆ Is this zine SFW or NSFW?
This is a fully SFW zine. ❆ Are you accepting contributors under the age of 18?
Yes, all those who are 16+ may apply. Minors will have their additional profit shares donated to a charity to be decided at a future date. They will still be compensated with the zine, and full bundle if profits allow. ❆ Is ship content allowed?
As this zine is dedicated to Ganyu, we prefer that no explicit ship content is created for it! However, exploring platonic relationships is perfectly fine.❆ Are contributors allowed to sell their work for the zine?
Artists own rights to their work always and are free to reproduce any merchandise or artwork they've created for the zine. However, to be fair to our buyers, we ask that contributors hold off from selling their work until the project has concluded.
❆ Is this zine for-charity or for-profit?
This zine is for-profit. Information about profit splits can be found here. ❆ How will contributors be compensated?
All contributors will be compensated with a physical copy of the zine regardless of sales received. With profits made from the zine, we hope to compensate all contributors with shipping and all additional merchandise. Any leftover profit will be distributed to mods and contributors based on shares. In the event additional stretch goals are added, these items will also be compensated for!Shares System
Each individual's profit is calculated as (number of shares)/(total shares) as a percentage of total profit. Stretch goal designs will be compensated for regardless of if they are made or not.
